PHOTOS TAKEN FROM A FACTORY (GEORGE ARCHER METALS IN DANDENONG)
- Basic portal frame
- Ridge apex
- Steel plates factory welded to steel rafters and then bolted together at the ridge
- Steel purlins running perpendicular to rafters
- At the end of the building there is some steel bracing to help the structure from skewing
- Bottom left is some engineered steel cantilevers coming out of two columns. This is for the crane and needs to be strong.
